SCIENTIFIC
3D ANIMATION AND ILLUSTRATION

From Medical Images to 3D Animation of Solar Systems

The microcosm and a large part of the macrocosm remain hidden from our eyes. Scientific instruments like microscopes and telescopes provide us with images that are often only meaningful to specialists. 3D computer graphics enable us to transform the insights from these images into illustrations and videos, making them visible and understandable for every eye.

About Me

Juan Gärtner
Chemist and 3D Graphic Artist

Born in 1961 in Madrid, Spain, studied Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry from 1981 to 1990 at the Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg. Since 1989, I have been translating chemical and pharmaceutical patents from German and English into Spanish. In 1998, I founded the computer graphics company animaxx3d and have worked on various computer animation projects, especially in the fields of product visualization, game design, special effects for TV series, and architectural visualization. Over the years, I have increasingly specialized in scientific visualization.

As a chemist and 3D graphic artist, I combine scientific expertise with the almost limitless possibilities of 3D graphics.
